Privacy Policy — SpliceAI

This Privacy Policy explains how SPRISE SRL ("Sprise", "we", "us") handles information in connection with SpliceAI, our iOS application for automatic video editing (the "App").

This policy covers the SpliceAI app only. Our website at sprise.ltd and our other applications are covered by their own policies.

1. Summary

SpliceAI does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, no servers, and no analytics. Everything the App does happens on your iPhone.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Your videos, audio, photos, or any media you import into the App
• Transcriptions, captions, or any text generated from your media
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or location data
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioural data

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or third-party analytics SDKs in the App. SpliceAI has no login, no account, and makes no network requests to our servers, because we do not operate any.

3. How your media is handled

When you import videos into SpliceAI:

• The media is processed entirely on your device, using Apple's AVFoundation and Speech frameworks
• Silence detection, filler-word removal, stitching, and caption transcription all run locally and offline
• Captions are generated on-device and never sent anywhere for processing
• Exported videos are saved to your device or shared using the system share sheet, at your choice
• Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party

We never have access to your media. We cannot view, recover, or delete it, because it never reaches us.

4. Permissions the App requests

SpliceAI asks for the following iOS permissions. Each is used only for the stated purpose, and only while you are using the App:

• Photo Library — to let you select the videos you want to edit. SpliceAI reads only the videos you pick; it does not scan or index your library.
• Speech Recognition — to transcribe speech on-device, so that automatic captions and filler-word removal can work. Transcription is performed by Apple's on-device speech engine.

You can revoke either permission at any time in iOS Settings. The App will simply lose the related feature.

5. Subscriptions and payments

SpliceAI offers an auto-renewing subscription, SpliceAI Pro, sold through the Apple App Store.

Apple processes all payments. We never see or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID. We receive only anonymised sales reports from Apple, which do not identify individual users.

Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy.

6. Support correspondence

If you email us at support@sprise.ltd, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to answer you, and we keep it no longer than needed for that purpose.

7. Children

SpliceAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the App collects no personal data at all, there is nothing for us to collect from a child.

8. Your rights

Data protection laws such as the GDPR give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Because SpliceAI collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide or erase. Your videos and edits live only on your device — deleting the App removes them.

If you have contacted our support address and want that correspondence deleted, email support@sprise.ltd and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

If a future version of SpliceAI adds a feature that collects data — for example accounts or cloud processing — we will update this policy before that feature ships, and we will update the App Store privacy disclosures at the same time.
